The Inforpress Group has signed an agreement with the Tomillo Foundation according to which the consultancy will donate a sum equivalent to registering for four communication seminars to this non-profit making organisation throughout the coming year. The agreement, which can be renewed on an annual basis, will enable foundation employees to improve their skills in order to carry out their work in caring for the socially disadvantaged.

GAES roadshow "Don’t forget your ears," is running different Spanish cities to reach public awareness about the importance of periodically reviewing our hearing health. It is estimated that 8% of the population have a hearing problem. 50% of people recognize have not ever done a review hearing.
Experts warn about the need to regularly review our hearing, as a way to prevent possible hearing disorders, besides taking measures to protect our ears. Although hearing loss is a condition most common in persons over 55 years old, everyday affect more younger people. Currently, risk factors such as prolonged exposure to high noise levels or the abusive use of music players with headphones, as MP3, are causing hearing losses, especially among young people.
Each year the campaign, which has been supported by Inforpress, regards different aspects of hearing. This time, "Don’t forget your ears" wants to pay special attention to hearing disorders in children. In Spain, this problem affects every year to 2,500 babies borned with some form of hearing loss.
Visitors can check the status of their hearing, receive advice on how to care for their ears and answer your questions regarding hearing health by specialists, who will perform hearing test to detect whether a person can suffer some form of hearing loss.
The roadshow, which this year will celebrate its fifth edition, will visit the cities of Madrid, Santander, Sevilla and Barcelona. The initiative has the support of the Spanish Society of Otolaryngology and Cervical Facial Pathology (SEORL-PCF) and the Spanish Confederation of Families of Deaf (IFLA).
